Terms and Conditions

1. Prices and Taxes 
   • All prices listed are in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of city taxes of €2 per night per guest for a maximum of seven (7) nights. 
   • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect bookings already made. 
   • Additional taxes or fees may apply, depending on local regulations or government requirements.
2. Cancellations/No-shows: 
   • Cancel within 48 hours of your check-in time for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in a charge of the first night accommodation rate plus taxes. 
   • If you do not show for your reservation by 11am the day following your check-in date, we will cancel your reservation and charge you for the first night in accordance with our cancellation policy. 
3. Payment and Terms at Check-in/Check-out 
   • A deposit is due upon booking, with the remainder of your payment for your stay is due upon check-in. We accept cash and major credit cards. 
   • A valid ID or passport is required for check-in. 
   • Check-in time is after 2:00 PM and check-out time is before 11:00 AM. 
   • Late check-out may be available for an additional fee.
4. Traveling with Minors 
   • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
   • A parent or legal guardian must sign a consent form for minors staying at our hostel. 
   • We reserve the right to refuse accommodation to unaccompanied minors.
5. Accessibility or Special Needs 
   • We are committed to providing accessible facilities for guests with disabilities or special needs. 
   • Wheelchair Access: Apologies, but our hostel is not wheelchair accessible or those with limited mobility. To access rooms, you must be able to climb at least one flight of stairs. If you would like to request a room on a lower floor, please let us know. 
   • Please inform us in advance of any special needs or requirements so we can accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.
6. Parking: Parking is not available on site. However, we can provide information on nearby public parking options.
7. Hotel Events 
   • We may organize events or activities for our guests during their stay. 
   • Participation in hotel events is voluntary and at your own risk. 
   • We reserve the right to cancel or change any hotel event without prior notice.
8. Dispute Resolution/Issues 
   • If you have any issues or concerns during your stay, please inform us immediately so we can address the matter. 
   • We will make every effort to resolve any disputes or issues in a fair and reasonable manner.
   • Any disputes or issues that cannot be resolved directly with us will be subject to Portuguese law and jurisdiction.
9. Use of Personal Information 
   • We collect and use personal information for the purpose of providing accommodation and related services to our guests. 
   • We will not disclose personal information to third parties unless required by law or with your consent.
10. Liability 
    • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property during their stay. 
    • Guests are responsible for their own safety and security. 
    • We recommend that guests take appropriate precautions to secure their personal belongings.
11. Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any delay or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or labor strikes.
12. Third Party Rights: These terms and conditions are for the benefit of the guest and the hostel only and do not confer any rights to any third party.
13. Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
14. Severance: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Your Content must be your own and must not be infringing on any third party’s rights. Lisbon Lounge Hostel reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this Website at any time, and for any reason, without notice.

Lisbon Lounge Hostel is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review such Terms on a regular basis to ensure you understand all terms and conditions governing use of this Website.

10. Assignment
Lisbon Lounge Hostel shall be permitted to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification or consent required. However, you shall not be permitted to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

These Terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this Website, constitute the entire agreement between Lisbon Lounge Hostel and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Portugal, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Portugal for the resolution of any disputes.
